Cost of college went up for all students at Uintah Basin Technical College

Tuition and fees rose 0.7 percent for 2018-19 at Uintah Basin Technical College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Utah students paid $4,190 to attend the public school this year – $1,580 more than the $2,610 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 42 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 59 students received grants or scholarships totaling $169,564.

Including all undergraduates (1,213), 513 students used grants or scholarships totaling $755,165.
