On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Wasatch High School standouts Kendyl Purdy and Payge Armendariz’s current college team, the Utah Valley Wolverines, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Arizona State Sun Devils.
The game took place at Alberta B. Farrington Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Sun Devils this season.
The Wolverines’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 1 p.m. at Jack Turner Softball Stadium against Syracuse Orange.
