2.3% of Wasatch County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Wasatch County recorded an unemployment rate of 2.3% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 402 people out of the 34,028 living in Wasatch County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Wasatch County has increased compared to the 1.8% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Wasatch County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 3.5%.

Of the 17,074 people who had a job during that time, 62 were employed in the Armed Forces and 17,012 belonged to the civilian labor force.
