City of Vernal issued the following announcement on June 15.
Vernal City is accepting sealed bids for the construction of pickleball courts located at Independence Park in Vernal, UT. Plans and specifications have been prepared by Sunrise Engineering and will be available online June 16, 2022, at planroom.sunrise-eng.com.
A pre-bid meeting will be held on June 28, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Independence Park, 100 S. 600 W. Vernal, UT. Attendance at the pre-bid tour is not mandatory but recommended. The names of those in attendance will be recorded.
Bid information can be obtained from Sunrise Engineering, by phone 435-789-7364 or e-mail Bryan Meier (bmeier@sunrise-eng.com). Sealed bids will be accepted until July 07, 2022, at 4:00 PM. Bids must have a notation on the envelope of “Independence Park Pickleball Courts”. Bids can be mailed to Vernal City Attn: Carl Morton at 374 East Main Street, Vernal, Utah 84078 or delivered to the same. Bids will be opened at 4:00 PM, July 07, 2022 at 374 East Main St, Vernal, Utah, and held for review. Vernal City will go through an extensive selection process and the best responsive responsible bidder will be selected.
Bidders must supply proof of contractor’s license, insurance policy, W-9, and worker’s compensation.
Vernal City reserves the right to accept or deny any or all bids for and waive any information or technicality on any bid in the interest of the City and their decision will be final.
