City of Heber issued the following announcement on June 13.
Heber City Corporation is seeking to fill a full-time Utility Maintenance Operator I position on the Tech team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing a variety of apprentice level, semi-skilled duties related to the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of City streets, water and sewer systems; read and repair water meters, maintain water pump house, assure chlorine is maintained at the proper levels, and assist with water sampling; complete Blue Stakes and map utilities with GPS unit; operation of various types of heavy equipment, hand tools and small power equipment; perform routine maintenance tasks and emergency repairs.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and two (2) years of general work experience performing job related duties or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Some knowledge of operating basic manual and power tools is required, as well as the ability to operate heavy equipment of various kinds under varying conditions. A commercial driver license (CDL) is required within 30 days of hire.
This is a fully benefited position. Benefits include health, dental, vision, URS retirement, paid holidays, vacation and sick time. Pay Range is $22.15 - $31.01. Upon offer and acceptance of employment, applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
