City of Vernal issued the following announcement on June 1.
Vernal City (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the 500 West Safe Sidewalk Project, which includes: Construction of approximately 412 linear feet of curb and gutter, 2,030 square feet of concrete sidewalk, 5 flared concrete driveways, utility and fence relocations and related work. Bids will be received for single contract.
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the offices of Vernal City located at 374 East Main Street, Vernal, UT 84078, until Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 3:00 pm local time. At that time, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Jones & DeMille Engineering, Inc., 38 West 100 North, Vernal UT 84078, (435) 781-1988. For questions regarding the Bidders List and accessing project manual and plans, email Tamara at tamara.s@jonesanddemille.com; for project specific or technical questions, email Bart Jensen at b.jensen@jonesanddemille.com.
Prospective Bidders may obtain the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except holidays. Vernal City reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
A Mandatory Pre-bid conference will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the project location.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
