College tuition fees fell 9.8% in Duchesne County in the 2022-23 school year, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

Data shows that students paid $2,760 on average to attend Uintah Basin Technical College courses at the time, less than the $300 charged for the previous school year.

For comparison, Utah universities charge students an annual average of $9,365 per year.

At the time, a total of $372,094 in grants or scholarships were awarded to full-time undergraduates who enrolled in the university.
